Entrusting and Embracing the New.

I had the opportunity to meet new students during a Bobbeelee Collection showcase on yesterday. The event was SWARMING with freshman students, released from the confines of adult supervision, into their new world of freedom and independence. As my team and I began to introduce our branded line of hair extensions to the new and future graduating class of UT, I was a little taken back at the number of weave wearing young ladies, who were wearing a product that they could not explain to us, what they were wearing. They found pleasure in throwing around the origins of, Brazilian, Indian and Peruvian, but yet that was all they could convey, in reference to something that is attached to and representing them literally. Yet the excitement in their eyes to see our company and its representatives. present a product and yet educate them of on it, clearly stated to me, that knowledge is power.  They were equally excited to learn the difference in a product and its level of quality as it concerns the world of hair extensions. One young lady spoke of the amount of money she spends on hair extensions alone in a year, and I was floored. But when I shared the difference in quality and savings she hit the floor, quite interesting might I say.  I began to explain, the average weave wearer spends at least $150 to $200 on the purchasing of hair alone, which is new hair for each installation at least 5 times a year. This totals to $750 to $1000 per year but, yet the question of the price for quality hair, ranging from $280 to $500 and relinquish the option of having to purchase for at least 2 years. At this point you’re only having to pay for the installation procedure and not the combination of the two.  At the end of the day, spending money on quality hair wins every day. Even the thriftiest person would spend money on quality in this equation. Now I just did the math for you in black and white. Now as these adults, who are now “independent” young ladies, have had their first lesson of the school year course: Hair Weave 101, by Bobbee Lee. Teaching how to spend your money wisely when it comes to wearing quality hair extensions, lets see who will get a passing grade at the end of the second semester.

The World of Hair Extensions

I wanted to take a moment to help many consumers aware this sky rocketing industry. This rapidly growing industry has increased its revenue several millions times over. I fact it has caused the beauty industry to become a multi-billion dollar industry. Now you’re probably thinking that’s why I blogging about this, which is the farthest from the truth. My purpose is to educate consumers into the understanding of how to purchase QUALITY in hair extension and learn that facts behind them as well. But before I continue, let me first find out, what questions and or concerns any of you reading this may have and hopefully I can bring a better understanding into the World of Hair Extensions. Feel free to ask…….

  • Why are they so expensive?
  • Why is quality so important?
  • I’m natural, are hair extensions safe for my hair?
  • How can I protect my leave out, of my installation?

These are just a few examples as we will help you to understand and make the right choices when it comes to hair extensions.
